James Biolos. James Biolos founded Launch Publishing.

James held a range of leadership roles at some of the world’s leading organizations.  At Citigroup, James developed and managed a highly successful intranet site targeting the top 350 global executives in the company.  He also started an intranet site for the organization’s 1,500 human resources personnel – as an effective knowledge management tool for sharing HR best practices across the organization.

James also led business development efforts at Harvard Business School Publishing.  He led the conception, development, and launch of the HBSP’s successful management newsletter division. 

He also helped forge partnerships with overseas publishers to market international editions of the Harvard Business Review and the Harvard Management Update newsletter.  James was also responsible for the organization’s customer research activities and, as a member of the senior management team, helped the organization develop and implement its growth strategy.

James began his career 20 years ago as an auditor for Arthur Andersen & Co.  He received his MBA at the International University of Japan, in conjunction with the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College.  James has published several articles on topics of innovation, careers, and Six Sigma for service industries. He has appeared in Investor’s Business Daily, Fortune, and MBA Jungle.
